Dave G xx

Born to a Jewish-Chilean father and an Australian mother in North London, Dave G’s music reflects the rich tapestry of his upbringing, split between London, Sydney and Santiago de Chile. Dave produces and writes his own music, combining folk guitar, dreamy pads, old school RnB grooves and luscious vocal harmonies to create a pop-like landscape layered in complexity and expressing his diverse background. 
 
Dave began his musical journey at the age of 14 after convincing his parents to buy him an electric piano. Teaching himself through YouTube tutorials, he would practice 6 hours a day after school. It was around this time he began producing his own music, on an old PC bought off a friend and modified. When he was 19, after spending 2 months in university, he dropped out to pursue his dreams of becoming an artist.
 
Working various jobs to fund his career, Dave eventually opened his own recording studio, which would eventually become First Studios, an established studio which has welcomed the likes of Lil Tjay, JHus, Deeno and more. When he’s not releasing songs, Dave enjoys making videos documenting his busy life running a music studio whilst being a musician.
